Geography calls for two areas of study: physical geography, which studies land and water formation over the earth's surface; and cultural geography,
which studies humans and their relationship to their environments. Geography is often a neglected part of education, but now more than ever children should be familiar with as much as possible to understand the complex world we live in. As with other subjects, the groundwork can be easily laid in the early years. |

Give your children the world! Teach them from the get-go that we are not the center of the universe. Teach them not to take our way-too-comfortable lifestyle for granted, while developing their capacity for compassion. Create a powerful geography/social studies curriculum with seven folders, each with a color-coded shape and name of the continent on the outside. Fill with pictures from the continents, backed with the corresponding color and hopefully - because this is something you create which can be passed down to your grandchildren - laminated. |
