Some of the materials described in Mommy, Teach Me! and Mommy, Teach Me to Read! have already been
designed and are available for free downloading at various sites on the Internet. These include language cards, math helps, and
even pre-lined paper for your child to practice writing.
Remember, my books are an introduction to using Montessori at home - drawing from my nine months of teacher training to provide you with the basic principles and some basic exercises to begin. If you choose to go deeper, all the resources you need are out there. Just journey on! And feel free to ask me questions as they come up - I'll post them at the Ask Barbara tab above for all to share. I'm researching and will also be including links to sites that specialize in Montessori equipment and supplies - including everything from sandpaper letters to the classic white pitchers used in the pouring exercises. The Montessori Materials Groups
A collective effort which serves as a ministry to homes and schools. Here you will find many materials to download, including language
cards, puzzle cards, art cards, and templates like student writing paper that will make your life easier. Some of this material will be familiar to you
from reading my books.
Some is more advanced, but if you are grounded in the Montessori basics, you can learn as you go along. Materials to download include classified cards,
templates, word lists, puzzle cards, art cards, leaf nomenclature, maps.
